Laayo is a Nepali delivery platform. You order food from local restaurants, groceries and everyday essentials from nearby shops, and Laayo's riders bring the order to your door. Laayo is based in Birtamod, Jhapa, and was founded by Sakshyam Baral.
Laayo delivers in Birtamod and the rest of Central Jhapa, in Damak, and in Kathmandu. When you set your delivery address, the app shows the shops that can reach it.
Restaurant food and groceries and daily essentials from local shops. Each store shows its own menu with prices, and you can search for a dish or a shop by name.
Open the Laayo app or laayo.com.np, set your delivery address, choose a shop, add items to the cart and place the order. You can pay with cash on delivery or a digital payment.
You can pay cash on delivery, by Fonepay QR from any Nepali bank or wallet app, or from your Laayo wallet balance, and you can split one payment between the wallet and another method. The options for your order are shown at checkout before you confirm.
It depends on the shop and how far you are from it. The app shows an estimated delivery time before you order, and once the rider picks the order up you can follow them live on the map.
Laayo delivers with its own riders and shows the rider live on the map, carries both restaurant food and groceries in one app, lets you schedule an order for later, and shows the delivery fee before you pay. Orders earn loyalty points with Silver and Gold tiers, and support chat inside the app already knows your order.
Yes. At checkout you can choose to have the order delivered now or pick a later time slot. Slots are 30 minutes long.
The delivery fee depends on the distance between the shop and your address. The exact amount is shown in the cart before you pay, so there is nothing added afterwards.
Yes. The order screen shows each step — accepted, being prepared, picked up, on the way — and the rider's live location on a map once they are carrying your order.
